Keller Williams sells its agents

Company launches online tour that aims to recruit agents, pitches its 'rule-breaking' values

Keller Williams Realty today unveiled "KW Career Tour," an online presentation that aims to recruit real estate agents.

The production features approximately a dozen Keller Williams agents who disclose facts about their background, achievements, strategies for success, and reasons for committing to the company.

The pitch is much more than "a dry rundown of corporate advantages," according to the company. The presentation is an "honest presentation of the firm’s rule-breaking corporate values and systems."

"Most real estate Web sites sell prospective recruits on the corporation. At Keller Williams, we prefer to sell our agents," said Gary Keller, founder and chairman of Keller Williams. "They are the core of who we are as a company."

The company includes its annual revenues, average annual growth figure and discloses $17.3 million as the amount of profit share since 1994.

"Agent profit share is a hallmark of who we are as a company," said Mo Anderson, president and CEO of Keller Williams. "Putting our numbers out front is consistent with our ‘open book’ policy of sharing financials with agents."

Also included in the pitch are sections detailing Keller Williams University, its technology tools and Agent Leadership Council.

Keller Williams Realty International was founded in 1983 and is an international real estate company with 210 offices located across North America that began franchising its offices in 1991. The company has approximately 13,000 franchisees and associates as partners.
