FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

DENVER -- Feb. 4, 2002 -- Bonfils Blood Center has signed a lease to have a new 7,200 sq. ft. donation center at 960 W. 124th Ave. in Westminster. The 15-year lease was handled by Wally Weckbaugh of Keller Williams Commercial Realty.

Bonfils will occupy the new building on April 1. "Our new facility will allow us to better serve the north Denver metro area," says Jessica Maitland, community relations director for Bonfils. "We've had tremendous support from this area in the past with our mobile donation centers. This new facility is our seventh location in the Denver metro area and will give area residents easier access for donation."

Weckbaugh says he began the search for a new facility last June. "Bonfils had some specialized needs that this building is able to provide--a place to park the oversized, mobile donation coach, facilities for biohazard disposal, a specialized finish and good exposure so donors can easily find them," Weckbaugh explains.

Weckbaugh joined Keller Williams in 1997. He opened the Northern Colorado franchise (Fort Collins, Loveland and Greeley) which has grown to more than 100 agents. Weckbaugh has personally supported Bonfils, and The Weckbaugh Foundation recently approved a grant to the organization. In addition, Keller Williams agents throughout Colorado donated blood during the holidays and gave more than $4,000 to Bonfils.

Bonfils Blood Center provides blood and transfusion medicine services to more than 90 hospitals and healthcare facilities throughout the state. For more information about Bonfils and contributing to the community blood supply, call 1-800-365-0006 or visit the web site at www.bonfils.org.

Keller Williams has created a unique agent-focused model for real estate sales that builds partnerships between agents and local ownership through participation in a life-long, profit-sharing program. Started in 1983, Keller Williams has more than 11,000 agents with franchised Market Centers in 45 states and provinces. Worldwide during 2001, the company distributed $4.2 million back to agents participating in the Partners for Life Profit-Sharing Program.
