Your username and password could be at risk. Recently, a dramatic increase has been reported in the number of emails sent to KW.com recipients by spammers and criminals, most of which are intended to trick the recipient into providing personal information. Some are familiar claims of deposed generals overseas with funds trapped in bank accounts. Others have impersonated KW Customer Support, and request the recipient’s password, threatening to disable webmail accounts unless action is taken.
Take caution if any email asks you to confirm a password, bank account number, or social security number. As a general rule, if you wouldn’t give it to a random stranger on the street, then it shouldn’t go in an email.
NO representative from Keller Williams Realty International will ever ask for your password, especially through email. If you receive any such requests, no matter how authentic it appears, please forward it to KWRI Customer Support at support@kw.com so that appropriate action may be taken.
