Are you taking advantage of LinkedIn – a network of 8.5 million professionals from across the world?

 

  • Set up a profile that highlights your professional experience and specific area of expertise. Link up with others you know and market your services.
  • Search for people you know to see if they’re members. Once you connect to someone, look at the profiles of anyone they know, and in turn anyone those people know. Use these three degrees of separation to grow your network.
  • Set up your profile so that your information will be searchable on popular search engines such as Google.
  • Use the question and answers section. Ask professional questions, such as: “I am looking for a resource on selling a couple their first home, any suggestions?” A fellow real estate professional might answer, “Check out Your First Home from the Keller Williams Realty Guide Series…”
