Lacey Brutschy was born with real estate in her blood. Her family was in the commercial real estate business, and she'll jokingly say that she had no choice in the matter of her career. Following suit, Lacey started her career at the age of 9, sweeping out her father's first commercial building on Hilton Head, SC. By the time she was 16, she was performing all the duties of a property manager on their 5 commercial buildings, all located around the Hilton Head Island area. She served as property manager of the buildings until she went to SMU in Dallas in 2005.
Lacey graduated top of her class at SMU, receiving a B.A. in 2009. In October of that year, Lacey moved back to South Carolina to continue working in her family's commercial real estate business. There, she continued her work as a property manager, but also included a broader scope of activities to her title. She researched and purchased multiple income-producing properties, all below 50% of their appraised value. She also built and managed the company's website, HHICommercialProperties.com, and got her real estate license in November of 2009. With her license under her belt, Lacey began leasing properties immediately.
Not being able to keep away from the Dallas metroplex, Lacey left in the summer of 2010 to to work as a commercial and residential agent at Keller Williams Urban Dallas.
