What will you do?
The successful candidate will be responsible for the creation and execution of product roadmaps and features related to delivering dynamic real estate technology tools such as web sites, multimedia applications and third party integrations. They will be responsible for ensuring that respective functions meet deadlines and deliverables within an Agile processes involving Sprint planning.
They will be responsible for driving product development from “cradle to grave? and preparing weekly executive and stake holder reports on status, success and performance metrics.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
a. Creating and managing product roadmaps and development plans that address strategic approaches, deliverable definitions, change management, resource and funding requirements, development and implementation schedules, internal and external communication activities, training, quality assurance;
b. Writing requirements and user stories and help with project deliverable definition.
c. Maintaining issue lists related to each project and following through with responsible party for issue closure.
d. Leading IT team meetings onsite and at client premises as warranted ensuring timetable and planning coordination/communications compliance.
e. Interfacing with responsible functional units to ensure deliverables are met.
f. Interfacing with third party contractors responsible to functional units to ensure project timeline, and cost accountability.
g. Monitoring and managing product budgets to ensure on budget tracking, reporting, and management through the product process and in ensuring compliance with accounting procedures.
h. Highlighting risks and presenting options to management and client for mitigating the risks.
i. Constantly monitor and report on progress of the product to all stakeholders.
j. Leading and motivating a variety of teams with a wide range of formal and informal reporting relationships to achieve consensus and commitment as well as complete tasks and deliver results as planned.
k. Must be a strong problem solver with a positive attitude and thrive in a fast paced environment and can manage resources and communication when priorities shift.
· 1 to 5 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
· Must have strong organizational and attention to details skills.
· Extensive knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access)
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Possess exceptional interpersonal communication and problem solving skills.
· Ability to work independently on assigned tasks as well as to accept direction on given assignments.
· Must be self-managed and self-motivated.
· Ability to work collectively with other team members.
· Prefer experience with Agile or SCRUM, but not required.
