Customer Service Representative - Business Development

GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB
Keller Williams International is seeking a Customer Service Representative ("CSR") to assist in managing the many relationships within the Vendor Network Department specifically focused on the vendor relationships of the Business Development Department. He/she will also be required to work closely with the departmental Operations Manager on all fulfillment issues to insure delivery of the contracted opportunities.

A sales support background is essential for this position. Additionally, this role will assist the Business Development Team on all accounts including (but not limited to) making sure that vendor requests are identified and logged into the database, following up on agreements between the vendor and KWRI, generating proposals, all while providing excellent customer service. The CSR will follow-up and insure that our vendors feel up-to-date on products and opportunities while increasing advertising and sponsorships.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Daily:

  • Provide service to existing Approved Vendors (“AV’s")
    • Respond promptly and courteously to email questions and requests
    • Establish and maintain positive relationships with AV’s and KWRI staff
  • Process AV Applications
    • Prepare AV program files and submit for approval
  • Follow the operations process for new vendors
    • Send Operations Manager AV program file for signature and approval process. After approval:
      • Track all vendors through legal and submit to President for signature
      • Send fully-executed agreement to vendors with approved vendor logos & disclaimers
      • Track process of applications and payments as needed
      • Maintain and update vendor contact information using custom database
      • Follow-up with AV’s for signed contracts and collection of program fees
      • Update Commission Spreadsheet with all new Vendor and payment entries
      • Help to achieve an increase in sales

Annually:

  • Family Reunion (annual convention) and Mega Camp
    • Sell sponsorship opportunities
    • Sell exhibitor registrations
    • Process exhibitor registrations
      • Add to tracking log
      • Provide support and attend both Family Reunion and Mega Camp events.
      • Assist with vendor check-in and exhibitor needs before, during, and after the events

As Requested/Needed:

  • Attend training and meetings
  • Develop and implement new programs, documents & procedures
  • Volunteer for additional KW events
  • Update contact management database

 

The CSR must be a team player and be able to work and interact in an environment that requires flexibility, as the program itself is ever changing. The CSR must be personable and have great people-skills with great attention to detail. The individual must have a focus on success, be open to new idea, and have the ability to contribute to the department and the company as a whole.

 

Must be able to:

  • Perform duties while seated at a desk with the fluent use of a computer and calculator.  Use Verbal and written communication via email, telephone, and in person.
  • Lift and move files, as well as various supplies and equipment.
  • Be prepared to travel and work at major annual conventions and events during weekend hours.
  • Endure long hours on your feet. 
  • Perform additional duities as requested.
