Department: Research and Development
Duties and Responsibilities
· Collect data and conduct quantitative analysis
· Devise and evaluate methods for collecting data
· Conduct research on consumer opinions in real estate industry
· Forecast and track real estate trends, analyzing collected data
· Monitor industry statistics and follow trends in real estate literature
· Present research findings through white papers, summaries, presentations and charts
· Create and manage a database of diverse research
· Write detailed research plans with clear outcomes, deadlines and goals
· Organize and update existing body of research within the company
· Conduct interviews with stakeholders and subject matter experts
· Liaise with IT department to develop reports from database
· Will work with company executives and field leadership to advise on industry trends

· Ability to breakdown and present complex ideas for mass communication/distribution and apply them to practical business needs
· Must be flexible, able to adapt and change priorities on the fly
Education and/or experience
· Requires a bachelor’s degree in a related area and 6-8 years of experience in the field or in a related area; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
1. Background preference:
· Graduate: MBA/Economics
· Undergraduate: BS Statistics/Math/Economics/Business, Real Estate
2. Software:
· Indepth knowledge in SPSS and/or other statistical software & MS Office
Supervision
· May provide consultation on complex projects and is considered to be the top level contributor/specialist
· Leads and directs the work of others.
· Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
· Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
· A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
· Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department.
