Maria King always ranks at the top of her profession. She received her Bachelors of Science in Business from the University of La Verne. Honing her entrepreneurial spirit, she created a mobile franchise of Gwen's Double Dip Ice Cream straight out of college. This family owned Company was and still is a landmark within the community for over 30 years. She owned and operated this business for 15 years before passing it down to her Son. Some of her more notable events include the UCLA Reggae festival, Jazz Fest West and Gardena Jazz Festival. She’s always had a passion and interest in Real Estate. Nine years ago, she decided to take the leap. Maria has worked in various areas of the Real Estate Industry since then. As a Seasoned Professional, she’s been a Property Manager for Great Western Estates, Project Manager and Business Developer for Daniels A & B Construction, Mortgage Loan Officer for both a private Brokerage and Bank of America and is currently a Top Producer for the Keller Williams Playa/Westchester Market Centers and a Project Manager for Real Estate Developers. She is a member of the Consolidated Board of Realtists and the Inglewood Board of Realtors. She has multiple certifications and designations in Mortgage Finance, Real Estate Development, Construction, Short Sales, Distressed Properties, REO’s and Pre-Foreclosures. With all these demands and accomplishments, Maria still found the time to raise three children as a single Parent. Her son Amir who is a Morehouse Alumni, Daughter Samirah who recently received an academic scholarship to The New School of Drama in New York City and Rainey who attends UC Santa Cruz whom she raised as her own after her Father passed away. In her spare time she dabbles in Interior Design, Volunteers at various transitional and sober living facilities and is quite the Fashionista. Her vast experience in Real Estate, dedication and integrity allows her to guarantee a smooth transaction and customized experience for each individual client.
