Rand Rubin

Licensed in 1994, and specializing in higher end properties, Rand Rubin has sold in excess of $100 million dollars of real estate – in Florida, nationally and internationally.
Prior to relocating to Ocala, Rand was a Top Producing Realtor in Sarasota. He specialized in Fine Homes, waterfront estates and International Marketing – closing well in excess of one hundred million dollars in transactions; and even owning a golf course along the way.
Prior to becoming a real estate professional, Rand amassed nearly twenty years of experience in advertising and marketing - both nationally and internationally. He began his career in 1976 as a commercial television writer/producer for Young and Rubicam Advertising in Los Angeles, California.
In 1979 he opened his own multimedia production company (R Squared Productions, Inc.) and specialized in the creation and production of entertainment marketing & promotion, commercials, and strategic creative consultation. Among his many clients were NBC, ABC, CBS, Columbia Pictures, Warner Brothers, Universal, 20th Century Fox, Westinghouse Television, Dentsu Advertising (United States and Japan), Doyle Dane Bernbach Advertising (United States and Australia), Oglivy & Mather Advertising (United States, Australia, Japan), Network 9 (Australia).
In 1988, he created CBS Spotlight for the network – a behind-the-scenes, CBS specific interstitial glimpse of series in production. He wrote, produced, directed and edited every episode. The show ran through 1991.
His awards include the coveted CLIO, US Film Festival Silver Screen, and International Film Festival Gold Medallion. He is listed in the first edition of Who's Who in Entertainment. He has traveled to over sixty countries around the globe and has directed such celebrities as: George Kennedy, Angie Dickenson, Richard Chamberlain, Bob Newhart, Larry Hagman, Racquel Welch, Robin Williams, Carroll O’Connor, Courtney Cox, Candice Bergman, Michelle Lee, William Shatner, Leonard Nimoy, Alex Trebeck, Alex Rocco, and Jon Cryer, among many others. He is a Member Emeritus of the Writers Guild of America.
