Mary Ruiz

Hello, my name is Mary Ruiz. On Behalf of Keller Williams, I'd like to welcome you to the Hudson Valley region. I've been living in the area for over thrity-five years and have been selling real estate for the last twenty-seven of those years. My husband and I brought up three wonderful children in Putnam County and they've enjoyed the benefits of attending great schools and the many social and recreational activities available to them.

Since first moving to the area in 1979, I have been very active in the community. I started two pre-school programs in Mahopac. The first one was at St. John's Church. It was very successful until its closing in 2011. The second program is still going strong, at the Holy Communion Episcopal Church. I also started the first on-site after-school child care program at the Fulmar Road Elementary School, was a substitute teacher in the Mahopac schools and at BOCES, Yorktown, and an instructor in the Continuing Adult Education Division.

I am currently active with the Friends of Mahopac Library and the Lake Mahopac Garden Club.

My past employment included positions with the Putnam County Legislature, the Electrical Board, the Personnel Department and as Administrative Assistant to the Putman County Executive. As a result, I have a good working knowledge of Putnam County government. I can truly say I love my community and being a part of it!
