I am Ross Hesseltine, and I am a Realtor here in the Des Moines area. I pride myself in being a resident of the Des Moines area, and am grateful that I have the opportunity to show people the GREAT life that they can build in Des Moines by helping them buy or sell real estate. This is a profession that I don’t consider to be a job, but a passion. In a day and age of changing professions every few years, I can see myself retiring from real estate. There is nothing better than to see the faces of people that have found a home that fits them. My passion for serving my clients will never grow old, because it is fulfilling for me knowing that I made a impact in their lives. That joy doesn’t stop after the sale either, I have built a relationship with clients that will last a lifetime.
AUTHENTICITY, HONESTY, TRUSTWORTHY, and RELIABILITY are the four things that I hold in high regard, not only for myself and family, but for my clients as well. I think that when people think about these things before making any decisions, you will not have regrets about your actions. I believe this especially true in real estate.

I pride myself on being AUTHENTIC, the person you read about here is the same person you will interview to help you buy or sell is the same person you see in grocery store. I do not have different faces for different places.

HONESTY is the best policy, it may sound cliché, but it’s true. I will not do anything to compromise that, and if that means losing out on a sale, that’s ok because I will not waiver on my values to make a dollar. If I have to lie to make a sale, it’s not a sale worth making.

Being TRUSTED is by far the most important thing in real estate, most true in the sale of your home. If you cannot trust a person to fulfill the job that you hired them to do, then you should end the relationship. Too many times, people hire someone they don’t know and expect the best service. It’s good business to have consultation meetings with your doctor, why not your real estate agent?
