When, in the winter of 1993, Meredith picked up long-established East Coast roots and headed for Santa Fe, it was with a sense of excitement that marked the start of a new adventure.
"I didn't know anyone when I arrived directly from New York City. It was scary at first, but when I caught my first glimpse of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains at dusk, I knew I was home."
In a market bursting at the seams with real estate professionals, Meredith views her big-city experience as a distinct advantage.
"I feel that I see things with a fresh eye and understand the concerns of people who may be coming to Santa Fe from far-flung places. Their concerns were mine not too long ago. If I can help make the transition a little smoother for someone through my experiences, that's a great feeling!"
Meredith takes great pride in the number of working relationships that have developed into friendships, something she attributes to service, diligence and a sense of humor.
"I know all the great hiking trails -- and all the great restaurants. Life in Santa Fe is about discovery. I love sharing my stories with the people I meet."
"To anyone contemplating moving to Santa Fe -- let me show you some of the special things I've discovered. The enormous sky, spectacular sunsets and pristine mountains speak for themselves."
