I am one of four siblings and a first generation Mexican-American born in Los Angeles CA, and raised in the small farming town of Linden CA. At a young age, my Father exposed me to the reality of daily life in his environment of laborious work out in the crop fields. One particular lesson, which I have come to value most in my life, is my Father repeatedly telling me to work hard and smart, and to always be willing to learn and study in order to progress in life. Those are humble beginnings and lessons which I embrace and treasure to this day. I learned to value work, family, and more importantly opportunity. I went on to graduate High School in 1992. I pursued a college education at the University of the Pacific in Stockton CA, where I studied Business Administration and later went on to graduate in May of 1996. After a few odd jobs in the Stockton business community, I realized that a path of self-employment for me would be a better fit, for my personality, and more importantly, for my dreams and aspirations.
I went on to work in the construction industry in late 2001, not by choice, but rather by necessity. I came to find out that construction was difficult, dirty, but extremely rewarding. I started working for a landscape construction company as a laborer, and quickly moved up the ranks to General Superintendent within one year. By my third year, I found myself managing a multitude of work crews and jobs sites. In 2005 I attained my Landscaping Contractors License and had started my own business in the Modesto CA area. I later went on to attain my General Contractors License in 2008 and continued to build my business in spite of the recession. I went on to build a successful construction company doing work on custom homes, projects from complete yard renovations to additions and rehabs.
In early 2011 I decided to enter the world of real estate. I received on the job training for a few months, and went on to attain my Brokerís license in August of 2011. This 2012 year has brought me on board with Keller Williams Realty in Stockton CA, and my level of excitement has certainly escalated. The part of this business that excites me the most is the relationships building, and more importantly, the excitement in continuing to help people achieve their dreams of home ownership, and the like.
