Her professional background brought her several high-profile clients. In the Inland Empire, she managed organizations such as NAIOP, BOMA, Lincoln Club, and GIVE. She acted as Director of Operations for SE Corporation, master developer of a 543 acre mixed-use development, and served for 8 years as CFO for EJEJ, Inc. parent company of automotive repair facilities.
Denise spent five years in Nagoya, Japan, teaching business English and Western corporate business practices and etiquette for clients such as Kawasaki-Kisen, J. Osawa, Mitsubishi, NTT and Toyota. She also prepared Japanese nationals and their families for overseas transfers to various Western countries. While in Japan, she studied and mastered the Japanese language.
In her spare time Denise enjoys teaching. She has educated students at San Bernardino Valley College, the City of Long Beach and the City of Corona in a variety of subjects including cultural diversity, customer service and personal finance, among others. Denise also has affiliations with publications suchas the Business Press, Beverage Industry News Magazine and the City of Corona's Inner Circle.
Denise earned her Master of Business Administration in Management with a concentration in Finance from the Drucker School of Management at Claremont Graduate University, and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Cal Poly Pomona, where she majored in International Business and minored in Business Law. She is certificated at the 5th level of mastery in Ohara Ryu style of Ikebana. She volunteers with Junior Achievement and is a member of Soroptimist International Corona, the Riverside County Lincoln Club Board of Directors and the Corona Public Library Foundation Board. Her interests are in travel, wine, ethnic and fine dining, music, musical theater, sports and yoga.
