Sandra moved to northern New Mexico to the village of Pilar, south of Taos, in 1982 when she was founding editor of a national crafts magazine, Country Handcrafts. She took the job after starting another magazine, Needlecraft for Today which went to over a million in circulation, on the condition that it would be freelance. So, for seven years she commuted to the publisher's location in Milwaukee WI to make project selections and to direct photography and write the editorial copy for the upcoming issue. The next magazine she started was Southwest Crafts and for that magazine, she didn't have to travel, but did the work from her home, now in Taos, and did the photography in and around Taos, including in her home. In 1995, she made a complete career change and became a real estate sales assocate for Coldwell Banker in Santa Fe. Now she has entered another exciting phase of her real estate career by becoming a broker for Keller Williams Realty. She brings an unusual background and knowledge of northern New Mexico with her to this new brokerage having lived in several of the northern villages from Santa Fe to Taos. Use her know-how and expertise to find your home in northern New Mexico or to assist you in selling your home.
