Mary J. Anthony, CIPS, ePRO, GREEN, GRI, MAIT

Mary has over 21 years experience in sales in the Northern Virginia market. She is licensed in Virginia and Washington, DC, and also has an active license as a Certified Residential Appraiser. Originally from New York, Mary’s career has spanned both coasts of the US, first as a real estate appraiser and chief appraiser in Beverly Hills, California, and, since 1989, as a Realtor, licensed in Virginia and the District of Columbia. Mary holds a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts from Colorado College and a Master’s Degree in International Transactions from George Mason University (1998), including study abroad at St. Peters College, Oxford University.

Mary has been active on the local, state and international levels of the real estate profession, serving numerous committees and acting as a director of the Northern Virginia Association of Realtors (NVAR) from 2001-2005. She has been a member of FIABCI, the international real estate federation based in Paris, France and is currently affiliated with Global Owner Invest, selling properties in the US and abroad, primarily Eorioe. Mary believes in building relationships in business. Her knowledge of finance and appraisal are invaluable assets to share with her clients. She is keenly interested in continuing education and stays current with new technology.

On a personal note, Mary is the proud mother of a daughter, Kelly, 22, who recently graduated from USC in California. Mary is a 10-year member and past president of the Arlington Kiwanis Club and a former PTA president. Well respected among peers and business associates, Mary has a wide-reaching network of both civic and professional connections. She enjoys international travel with far-flung adventures such as climbing Mt Kilimanjaro, dog-sledding in Alaska , trekking through the jungle on the 26-mile Inca Trail to Machu Picchu, and most recently, skydiving over New Zealand's largest lake, Lake Taupo.
