I’d love to take this chance to introduce myself , my name is Mayte Morelos. I was born in Mexico and moved to Toronto when I was 11 years old, since then Toronto has been my one and only home and I couldn’t be happier to call this wonderful city “home”.
I remember when I first moved here the very first thing that struck me is the very many different cultures that are present in this great city. Furthermore, the fact that all of them are able to coexist peacefully together was even more impressive. The respect that each Torontonian displays for the rest of the cultures is one of the many characteristics that I love about this city.
Growing up, I realized what a beautiful thing it was to live in this great multicultural city, because thanks to the many cultures present here, you are able to find every type of food you could want, every style of music you could desire, and even every type of clothing style. The possibilities are endless in this great city and the freedom is everywhere.
As soon as I got here and saw the contrast of my monocultural hometown with the vibrancy of this multicultural city, I began to be fascinated by its people, their culture, heritage and the challenges they endured and overcame in order to be here. As a result when I finished high school and entered university at York University, Glendon Campus I decided to major in Hispanic Studies to learn more about my heritage and French Studies to be able to combine my heritage knowledge with the French Canadian heritage. Later on I decided to also do a certificate in Translation, because serving others has always been one of my innate characteristics and I thought that by translating for newcomers I would be rendering a good service to people who needed it.
While being in university, I took a big interest in real estate, because not only is it a fascinating field to work in but I saw I would have the chance of providing huge value to many people before, during and after their home buying process. I understand how complex and stressful the home buying process could be if the right leadership is lacking, that is why I take it upon myself to guide people through this process in the smoothest way possible, so that they may find the right house that will be their home for many years to come, where their children will grow up and where many memories will be created and I am very privileged to be able to help them set the first stone in this new phase of their lives.
I was brought up in a very costumer service oriented family, both my parents have always been in sales and I grew up watching them add value to their different costumers each and every day and so the philosophy of adding value to others is deeply engrained in me. So when I found the Keller Williams Referred Realty IncI knew immediately this was the right place for me. The training we are required to go through as realtors in is no doubt second to none, and this allows us to provide our clients the most professional advise tailored to their specific needs. It was the KW’s “By Referral Only” philosophy that convinced me there was no better place, because the best part of my job is that not only do I get to serve my clients during the transaction but I get build relationships for life with my clients!
I look forward to meeting you and helping you find your dream home in the near future!
