For example, a mobile home purchase in a mobile home community can be by owning the mobile home and the lot it sits on. In that case the purchaser would get a deed to the home. Or a home can be purchased in a co-op. In that case the purchaser owns a share in the entire community. Another way to purchase is to own the mobile home only and someone else owns the lot. In such a case the purchase price may be much lower than other means of purchase but the monthly fees much higher. For anyone interested in listing a home I spend a great deal on advertising for I know that there is much more to locating prospective purchasers than just a sign in the yard or window.
