John Cleek was born in the midst of the Great Depression in Osage County, Oklahoma. He was the second of five children born to a preacher father and school teacher mother. He was the first in his family to graduate from college and the first to earn a Ph.D. When he bought a home at the age of 30 it was the first time he had ever lived in a house owned by anyone in his family.
John has taught in 48 states and five countries in Asia. He has served as a college president twice, college dean and professor. He has also been a corporate executive and established and operated an international management and trading company. As a REALTOR® he proudly represents buyers, especially first-time buyers and volunteers his time to help homeowners facing possible foreclosure.
