Susan Walker

Born and raised on Long Island as the middle child of a family of seven, I moved to Austin in 1981 to pursue a double Bachelor's degree in Finance and Statistics/Operations Research at UT Austin. The analytic nature of my coursework at University was the perfect complement to my upbringing in the Italian community of Long Island, New York. Industrious & determined to succeed, I worked my way through college in the restaurant business which opened unforeseen doors to advancement that allowed me to stay in this AMAZING town I'd so quickly grown to LOVE (Do ANY of us know any one who HASN'T fallen in love with Austin?) I founded my first company, Provenzano's Catering and ten years later I opened a lovely restaurant in Westlake called 5 Star BBQ & Grill. Both businesses proved a perfect confluence for my inherited passion for caring for (feeding) my clients and my hard-earned degree in Finance. I even brought our children to work on busy Friday nights!! Fast forward a "few" years: the children are now college grads, I am still in the business of taking care of my clients, only now I am doing so by helping them to achieve their goals of buying, selling or investing in real estate. I’ve found a special niche in new, “green” construction - thanks to my talented Builder husband, Tommy, who’s been building in Austin , San Antonio, Boulder CO & Manhattan NY for nearly 40 years. I cherish each opportunity to help Buyers, Sellers & Investors, and I look forward to talking with you soon!
