Emily and Travis Morris

After graduating from the University of Washington and taking a job at the state’s Department of Ecology, Emily Morris seemed more on track to save the environment than to build a career in real estate. However, after purchasing four properties (including 3 investment properties) by her mid-twenties, Emily discovered a previously unrealized passion for real estate. Her first-hand experience instilled in Emily the desire to offer her clients a more energetic, positive real estate service. Thus, she develped an exciting buyer/seller presentation method that emphasizes client education and utilizes the newest available technologies.

Emily’s first year with Keller Williams, she sold a house every 15 days, and achieved several distinctions including “the 3rd top producer” in her office amidst a cast of veteran agents. Most notably, Emily demonstrated the unique ability to fuse relevant market trends with client preferences, resulting in a streamlined buyer/seller experience. As Morris puts it, “I thrive on the opportunity to apply new ideas and a new approach to get houses sold.” To date, Emily and her team have facilitated more than 50 closures in two years of full time real estate, representing a variety of price ranges and locations. Although she has sold in five counties, her primary focus is King and Pierce Counties.

Looking to share her expertise and refine her focus, Emily has launched EmilyMorris.com, emphasizing 2 areas vital to home ownership: Home Health, and Financial Health. According to Emily, “I want to be more than someone who helps people to buy or sell homes. I want to be a trusted resource. I want to help people to be holistically successful.” From her blog, Emily divulges tips on current real estate trends and incentives, making your home more healthy, building wealth through real estate and being fiscally responsible while still having fun!

When she’s not working on behalf of her clients, Emily makes her residence in Federal Way, Washington with husband Travis, and dogs Ringo and Marley. They enjoy traveling, dinner parties, and the occasional flight on the trapeze.
