Heather Hemsley

Heather Hemsley has lived in and around Atlanta since 1980. She is a graduate of Parkview High School in Gwinnett County. She attended Georgia State University's business school. While at Georgia State, Heather was one of the few women in the Real Estate program. The course of study included, appraisal, land use planning, site selection and real estate finance.

She graduated with a Bachelors of Business Administration with a concentration in Real Estate in1990 - Magna-Cum Laude.

While at GSU, she was awarded the Atlanta Association of Professional Mortgage Women's Scholarship, and the Kirkland and Company Scholarship for an outstanding Junior in Real Estate. She also passed the 1A1 and 1A2 appraisal exams of the American Institute of Real Estate Appraisers.

After graduation, she joined Regency Mortgage of Buckhead Brokers as an "in-house" loan originator assisting the clients of Buckhead Broker agents with obtaining their mortgages. She stayed with Regency Mortgage for 5 years until after the birth of her second son.

Heather has been a licensed real estate agent in the state of Georgia since 2005, and currently resides in Windward in Alpharetta with her husband and three very active children.
