Tom Davila’s passion for real estate began at a very early age under the tutelage of his grandfather, who taught him the true secret to success in the business: Honesty.
Born in Encino, and raised in the Hollywood Hills, Tom was inspired by LA’s rich history and unique architecture to learn everything he could about the city’s real estate development.
For the past 11 years, he has been a resident of Outpost Estates, one of the most prestigious and historical residential areas of Los Angeles. It is here that he purchased and oversaw the renovation of his dream home, which has been featured on television and in print materials.
As he built his personal real estate portfolio comprising of properties in LA and the Desert, Tom has also gained unparalleled experience in quality construction, renovation and design. It is this unique insight that allows Tom to guide his clients and friends by helping them make informed decisions about one of their largest and most important investments.
Prior to working in Real Estate, Tom graduated from California State University-Northridge, and became a Production Controller on feature films produced by every major Hollywood studio. His specialty was in supervising film production budgets over $100 million throughout locations around the world. He was later recruited to become President of Warner Bros.’ signature visual effects studio responsible for the cutting-edge technology seen in “The Matrix” sequels and several other high-profile films. He personally oversaw the build-out of the 60,000 square foot state-of-the-art facility and supervised over 300 employees. It is through these experiences that Tom has cultivated long-standing relationships with some of the most influential executives in Hollywood and around the world.
