A native to the Pacific Northwest I have lived and worked from Seattle Washington to Portland Oregon.
I worked as a nanny for 10 years which I believe taught me how to Multi-task and stay organized, as well as Compassion, Understanding, Perseverance and Patience. These are all skills that I believe to be a requirement when working as an assistant.
In 2005 I started working as a transaction assistant for a top producing team with Keller Williams Realty in Portland. I managed all listing and sales transactions keeping in touch with all parties involved from the opening of escrow to the end of the transaction, as well as maintaining our team website & database programs. While working at Keller Williams I was a member of the culture committee organizing office fund raisers and also participated in local community events such as Race for the Cure, Adopt a family, Portland coat drive and local food drives.
I started an Assistantís mastermindís class that gave assistants in our office opportunities to share their ideas and ask questions so that we could all be doing our jobs to the best of our abilities. The assistant mastermind class caught on quickly and our office became a hub for other local Keller Williams offices.
In May of 2007 I took a new position at Chicago Title where I was one of 3 assistant to a well known Escrow officer in our area. Joining a new team, in a new field was a bit intimidating at first especially when my other teammates had years more of experience than I did. I worked hard, asked questions and took the advice of anyone that would give it to me. In a little less than 6 months the other 2 assistants had been moved to other teams and I was managing all open transactions for our unit. At any given time we would have over 100 open resale, refinance and new construction transactions. This job required extreme organization and excellent customer service.
In 2008 I accepted a new position with one of Oregons top teams and worked with them for nearly 5 years.
