John is a seasoned professional, having worked in the corporate arena for over 15 years. Focused on marketing and sales in the entertainment industry, he was solely responsible for the contract administration of domestic pay TV deals valued at over $1 billion. When his responsibilities shifted away from client interaction and customer service, Harper re-evaluated his priorities, and in July 2006, he joined Keller Williams.
John embodies the principles that Keller Williams Realty was founded upon - the importance of having the integrity to do the right thing and always putting clients’ needs first. Buying or selling a home can be one of the most emotionally stressful events in one’s life, and John’s goal is to guide you through it and make it as smooth as possible. John actively listens in order to best help clients achieve their goals and home dreams.
John was born in Kansas City, and spent his early years in the suburbs of Overland Park, KS. When he was 12, his family moved to Mandeville, LA, where John grew to appreciate the history and architecture of the New Orleans area. Harper received his BFA in Communications from Southern Methodist University, and lived in Dallas and New York City before moving to Los Angeles. His diverse experiences, coupled with strong mid-western values, enable him to work comfortably with all types of personalities in order to best serve the needs of his clients.
