The difference between an agent and a consultant is expressed in the core values of Keller Williams. It's the difference between a master and an apprentice. Superior service offered, superior service delivered. I don't sell anything, I consult, educate, and act as your fiduciary representative. I am required to provide the utmost in confidentiality, knowledge, experience, and objectivity from the first day you hire me to the moments after we close the transaction. Real estate is such a huge investment, usually the largest one people ever make, and I will consult and protect my client to the best of my ability.
I will only work with a buyer after a detailed explanation of agency law in Georgia and why I offer Buyer Agency. Most people do not understand that without a signed Buyer Agency agreement, the agent represents the seller, and is required by license law to divulge any information that would benefit the seller.

I am 2008 ALC for my office and 2008 Atlanta City Wide ALC representative for my MC.
My background: I have lived in Atlanta most of my life, and have seen the many changes over the years. I graduated from Woodward Academy in 1985. I attended the University of Georgia for 3 years, then left to start an apparel manufacturing business in the NE Georgia mountains. After the passage of NAFTA (North American Free Trade Agreement), domestic manufacturing experienced a steep decline, and I decided to pursue real estate development. Prior to getting my real estate license, I was a residential subdivision developer. I have an extensive knowledge of the mechanicals of homes, and offer the client a tremendous service with my consulting on how a home works as well as the negative issues of specific homes. This provides the client with an extra level of protection and information that the vast majority of agents can?t offer. Many homes built in the past 20-25 years have been constructed with defective materials such as polybutelene pipes or composite siding, or with potentially defective materials such as synthetic stucco. I also have written Home Owner Assoc. covenants, and I can point out issues that could have an impact on my client. I live in the Emory/Toco Hills area of DeKalb county with my wife Diane, our 5 year old daughter Amelia and 2 year old son Wells, our 2 White Standard Poodles, Martha and George, and our cat, Tigger. My hobbies include cooking all types of cuisine, wine, entertaining, fishing, on-track driving schools, NCAA football (go Dawgs!) and of course, Real Estate.
